Teching
Teching is mainly only for experienced players, so only try this if you feel you are skilled enough. Teching is a big risk, because if you don't get your units in time for the other team to rush or for you to rush, your team will most likely get slaughtered. If you feel the need to tech, some popular (and easier) units to tech to are Gargoyles, Necromancers, Wyverns, Raiders, Priests, Sorceresses, Faerie Dragons and Druid of the Talons. To do this you have to be able to judge how many workers will be able to get you resources before you upgrade your hall. Get 4 or 5 workers going for each resource and have a couple building food sources and an Altar, and whatever else you need to get the building needed to make your unit and whatever buildings are needed to make the unit itself. Save up some cash to spend on these units in ulk and try to get them ready for your rush or to counter the other teams rush. Having these higher scale units (especially air, unless facing 2or more night elfs. Necromancers are very usefull too as the skeletons are nearly as powerful as their basic units) can change the tides in your favour. Although risky, if pulled off, teching can be VERY useful.
